Mountpleasant Lodge offers a caring environment, fostering a love of life and nurturing each individual through a person centred approach to care. Mountpleasant Lodge is a nursing home in Kildare located in gorgeous Kildare countryside. Situated only 2 miles from the idyllic village of Kilcock, Co. Kildare, this nursing care home is within easy reach of counties Dublin and Meath. We have many local Co Meath residents living with us and as we are only 20 miles from Dublin city centre we find that our residents also originate from the neighbouring Dublin areas providing a lovely mix of interesting and diverse personalities in the Home.
We proudly provide person centred care which is driven by the wishes and desires of residents as well as being planned to meet individual care needs. All care team at Mountpleasant Lodge are either registered nurses or trained care assistants to ensure the needs of our residents will be met in a professional and person centred manner.

Movember was a huge success here in Mountpleasant. Thanks to everyone who got involved and all who donated (their faces). We are tallying up the donations but it will go very far in the fight against cancer.

The MountPleasant Lodge Social Club is a social gathering once a week where people can drop in to chat, access information and support and meet other people as well as to exchange ideas and experiences. Our Social Clubs are for people with dementia, their friends, families or carers. (Person with Dementia must be accompanied by family carer / friend for full duration of club)
