Kilcock Roverway 2016
Description
This coming summer, over 5,000 Scouts from across the world will be meeting in France for Roverway 2016; a ten-day journey of adventure and discovery for 16-22 year olds.
Thirteen of our Ventures and Rovers will be taking that journey in an opportunity to exchange ideas and experience the cultures of young people from around the world as they cross France.
Our youth are working hard to get to Roverway and have undertaken a multitude of fundraisers. Through various fundraising activities they have been able to raise some money on their own, but it’s not enough. A donation will help them get there and realize this dream.
To help them in their endeavors, I have agreed to shave off my hair and beard, and I invite your support in my attempt to help them with their costs.

The Big Shave Off
Hi Everyone Due to a family commitment; I will not be able to carry out the beard and head shave tomorrow as planned in the institute and will instead carry it out next week in our Den. I’ll put a video up on the facebook sight below for your entertainment. if anyone still wishes to sponsor me, I have a card down at my desk or just email and I’ll put your name on it – don’t forget to include what you think the weight of the beard as well as the weight of the hair separately to be in with a chance at a book voucher and, or a box of Chocolates. Yes It’s Time for that Beard to go I’ll be going from grizzly to just plain ape (preferably without the ears) on Friday 29th April at a venue yet to be decided, but very Likely my work place. So, if you are interested in helping me raise the funds; drop us a line. If you want to see how close I get to the ape - photos will be taken. As an extra enticement, if you can guess the weight of the hair and/or the beard, there’s a prize of a book voucher (€30) and a runner up prize of a box of chocolates.
