Only a few times in life someone comes along and shines a light in to your soul, and brightens up your life immeasurably. David Lubke is such a person and I know I'm not the only one to think this way. Sad that David is going home tomorrow, here's wishing him well and can't wait to have him back in Kenmare.

Kevin Conneff and Tim Edey dropped in for a tune and lucky enough one of Kenmare s finest guitar player s was on hand to play with them. Kevin is a member of Legendary Irish Band the Chieftains and is touring with amazing musician Tim Edey at the moment. Local guitarist Andy Yelen provided brilliant accompaniment as did local singer Maureen Sullivan. Great night.

This Thursday all the way from Germany David Lubke is playing in Crowleys with a little help from his Kenmare musician friends. David lights up any venue with his music and demeanour and we are so glad he is spending some time on Kenmare.
