www.TheVidacademy.com Judie Russell set up The Vidacademy in 2017 to make mobile-video simple for everyone through public speaking, consulting and training workshops. The Vidacademy’s mission is to give people the tools, show them the platforms and help build their confidence so they can share stories that matter the most to them with the world.
Judie graduated from University College Cork in 2006 with a first class honors Masters in Business Economics. Over the following 5 years Judie lived and worked in 11 countries from New Zealand to Hawaii. In Costa Rica she presented online videos and produced over 100 minutes of content weekly. She returned to Ireland in 2009 and became certified in TV and Video Production. She edited Seasons 3 and 4 of Ireland’s longest running hidden camera show ‘The Fear’. For 12 months she ran her own magazine show that broadcast weekly on SKY. She spent summer 2015 working as part of the small team behind Irish box office hit ‘The Young Offenders’.

A timelapse is a series of pictures taken at a set interval, for example, every 10 seconds, and then the pictures are stitched together into a video clip. Every video we watch is really just a series of still images placed next to each other like a cartoon flip book . Around 25 pictures in each second is what feels like normal motion to our human eyes and brains.
