We enjoyed a fabulous autumn nature walk last week to collect sticks and leaves for our hibernating hedgehogs! We even spotted some bugs and cows on the way! 🕷🍁🍂

A real proud moment..... how kind and lovely is this..... After talking about caring for our friends these gorgeous kids, without any guidance, built a campfire and made soup for everyone so we wouldn't get cold or hungry. Feeling very lucky having such amazing kids in our class 😊
Well done to our kids, who planted our wild flower garden, strawberries and broad beans before we finished for the summer. They did a SUPER job and we are loving it!
Just finished a great few days settling in everyone, well done! So excited to be starting our new year and really looking forward to all our Muddy Boots adventures!

Some of the best Pratical and Sensorial Montessori work can be done outside and a great example of this is the broad beans from our vegetable patch! We spent a large part of last week, picking, podding and peeling broad beans. The children REALLY loved and enjoyed this and couldn't believe the vibrant pink and purple colours of the beans!!
