Sleep has a direct impact on your hormones. Quality and quantity all matters. . . Sleep deprivation has been shown to decrease leptin (an appetite suppressing hormone) and increases ghrelin (a hormone stimulating hunger). Along with increasing Cortisol & Adrenaline, in turn having an effect on your reproductive hormones. . . I got out of the habit of journaling for a while, but after a couple months back at it, I see the benefits all over again. . . Journaling is a gateway to your subconscious. Usually we have thousands of thoughts running through our heads each day, and they go by so fast we don’t even catch the negative ones.
