Hapkido has finally come to the West of Ireland.

Hapkido", a traditional Korean martial art and the 'National Martial Art of South Korea', was founded by 'DoJuNim' (Honorable Founder of the Way) Ji, Han Jae.
Hapkido literally translated: "Hap" means coordinated or in harmony,
"Ki" means the essence of power, and "Do" meaning a path or "the way". In short, Hapkido means "the Way of Coordinated Power". (www.worldsinmoohapkidofederation.com)

It aims to incorporate wrist techniques, kicks and weapons to create one of the most complete martial arts and self defense forms there is.

These include joint locks, throws, strikes, pressure points, mastering blocks and redirection as well as a vast amount of kicking techniques.

Sin Moo Hapkido brings together core values of flexibility, adaptability,
non- violence as well aiming to connect mind and body to achieve spiritual, physical and emotional well-being and harmony.

Each class is adapted and suited to all fitness levels and ages. Currently adult classes are running every Monday evening from 8pm-9.30pm in the Galway Lawn Tennis Club.
All are welcome.
