Finglas provides free part time adult education classes to adults aged 18 plus from education levels 1-4. if you have done Leaving Cert already, we will not have courses suitable for you. We offer support to people who want to improve their reading and writing skills at any level.

Seachtáin na Gaelige in the centre was given a big fáilte with the launch of a new booklet. Under the direction of Nicola O'Callaghan the Irish group created a booklet to help people get started using their cúpla focail . All the students in the centre were invited to the launch which was marked by a lovely reception. Ask Bernie if you want to get a copy of the booklet in the centre.
International Womens Day
Hi Please join us for International womens day on Wed 8th March from 9.30 onwards.We will be having Tea/Coffee ,cakes etc.There is a 2 euro charge for this.All money made will be donated to Crumlin Childrens hospital.Looking forward to seeing you there.

Meet our new intern Buddy! We were thrilled to welcome our new staff member Buddy to our centre recently. Buddy showed real enthusiasm on his first day, and carried out all his tasks to the best of his ability. We would welcome Buddy back any day!

Recent trip to Berlin Some of our students and tutor Joan Foley travelled to beautiful Berlin over the mid-term break. They visited some well known sites including Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenburg Gate and their Olympic Stadium. A great time was had by all.

Dublin Culture Connects Some of our CDETB Adult Education Service staff and students had a lovely morning in Collins Barracks in the National Museum. Students from the Drama Group, the Creative Writing Group and the Drawing Group performed original pieces they had created , the Irish Haka and Bread and Circus, and displayed their artwork. We took part in Dublin Culture Connects a collaboration between Dublin City Council and the National Museum.
