There will be something for the PJ Mask fans, a messy gelatine sea, an orange scented bin, we’ll be making our own snowstorm in a jar, a tiger striped sensory bin and tactile cubes. With the cold weather sometimes keeping you inside with the kids during this time of year the days can seem very long as cabin fever sets in. Here are a few suggestions to how to keep your little one’s entertained using a few things you already have around the house: 1. Giant Crash Pad: put a mattress on the floor. Let your kids run to it and jump onto it on their bellies. Once they tire of that game the mattress can also become a stage on which they can perform their favourite songs. 2. Cardboard Boxes, Stickers and Crayons: Let their creative imagination run wild as they create their own fort. 3. Teddies: let them take out all their cuddly toys and create a ‘teddy land’, ‘teddy bear picnic’ or ‘teddy bear hospital’ 4. Throws, books and flashlights (optional): Create a library den where your child can look through his/her favourite books or snuggle up with your child for story time.

Next week, starting Monday January 29th we have something for the Peppa Pig and Disney Princess fans! Gold sensory Disney Princes and Princesses 👸🏻 bin, sensory Peppa Pig bin, find the dominos and slot them in the box, spaghetti yarn, fishing for bottle caps, make your own necklaces and edible silly putty. Only €7.50 pay as you go. Bray Mondays and Saturdays at 10.30 in the Wolfe Tone Community Centre, Bakers Corner Thurdays at 10.45 and Enniskerry Parochial Hall Fridays at 10.

Any Paw 🐾 Patrol or Frozen fans out there?
