Fun in the sun ☀️ long may it continue
The kids have to be applauded for their perseverance & for embracing the process. It’s not a quick job but the majority of the kids loved the making of the weave. Will be completed next session :-). Well done all!
As with the morning crowd we tried hard to start wrapping up our weave. Perseverance & concentration is getting the kids closer to the end of their spiral weaves.
In stark contrast to the neat and precise weave some of the morning kids got stuck into a very hands-on painting process using wheels. They loved the mess & the exploration that went hand in hand with it.
Some completed & almost completed weaves - how wonderful!
This week was all about trying to wrap up our weave. The kids worked hard on the weaving process & Pom-pom embellishments. Delayed gratification at work here as the kids looked forward each week to continuing the weave but are glad to be seeing an end in sight! We are getting there :-)

As with the morning crowd the kids just loved making their Pom Poms - ‘this is like playing with a fidget spinner but you get a Pom Pom at the end’ the kids all agreed :-). They all just embraced the process & loved the outcome :-)
The afternooners worked on a group drawing of a imaginary forest using a large sheet of Fabiano paper, charcoal, graphite & pencils. To be worked on further next week :-)
The spiral weaves are beginning to take shape for the afternoon gang.
