A trusted family butcher since 1970, Bergin's high quality meat, game, poultry & deli products are served with a good measure of expertise & hospitality. Founded in 1970 by Michael J Bergin, Bergin Family Butchers has become a successful business with sons Brendan, Dermot and Robert running butcher shops in Edenderry, Co Offaly, Navan, Co.Meath and Derrinturn, Co. Kildare respectively.
The Bergin Family pride themselves on their second to none beef selection process. All our beef is hand selected by Dermot Bergin personally each week. This hands on approach guarantees that only the very best beef reaches our meat counters ensuring consistently high quality standards at all times.
An accolade we are most proud of is our award winning Bergin Steak Burger which achieved Gold at the National Barbecue Competition in 2012 judged by the acclaimed celebrity chef Nevin McGuire-it truly is delicious.
With over 40 years of farming and meat industry experience we bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. We are always striving to improve our offering and we welcome feedback from our customers.

SPECIAL OFFER at Bergin Family Butchers - Edenderry! Deliciously tender Sirloin Steak NOW ONLY €10 for 2lbs - a lovely mid-week treat! TO COOK: Rub or brush steak with a little oil and season with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Heat a heavy based frying pan over high heat for 2-3 minutes until smoking. Place steak in the dry pan and cook over a high heat for 1 minute each side. Reduce heat to medium and continue to cook for a further 2 minutes each side(rare), 3 minutes each side (medium) or 4 minutes each side (well done).Allow steak to rest for 3 minutes before serving. Yum!
