One of the most effective treatments for emotional and mental afflictions such as anxiety, depression, phobias, addictions and post-traumatic syndrome is completely unknown to most people. It's like it is a secret that shouldn't be. Here are three probable reasons why this method is not more wide-spread: 1, Most people do not talk openly about personal, emotional issues that are beyond their control, and possibly even less about getting help for such issues. Even after having received help, most are happy to get on with their life and will only tell a few about their previous problems. The reason for this is simple - it's very personal. Comparatively, it is much easier to lightheartedly share the experience about a restaurant, hotel, hair dresser or a plumber. These sort of services, if they are good, will grow through word of mouth. However, services dealing with very personal issues, even if they might be outstanding, will not be talked about a whole lot. 2, "Alternative" methods are by default not mainstream. This also makes it difficult to know what alternative methods are good and if those who practice them are professional. Some of this information can be found online, but when it comes to a personal problem most people prefer a more trusted reference, preferably from someone we know. Even though conservative, traditional medicine often is criticised for not giving enough time to patients and oversubscribing psychiatric medicine, many people still choose to go to their own Doctor because it is someone they know and trust who is qualified. So even if alternative methods in many cases can more effective, people stick to what they know instead of trying something they are not familiar with. 3, Non-mainstream treatments often operate outside the academic sphere and there is little to no funding, or interest, to study many of them scientifically. One method that tells a different story is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). When Dr. Aaron T. Beck developed CBT in the 1960's it was an alternative method to begin with, but as Dr. Beck and other early CBT therapists saw psychiatric medicine as complementary to CBT, pharmaceutical companies funded research of CBT with a great number of clinical tests that followed. As a result, CBT has become one of the most established forms of treatments for mental illness and emotional distress today. Other alternative methods will be studied occasionally but rarely to the same extent because the lack of funding. Some methods will, for the benefit of all, be disproved when studied carefully. However, even when alternative methods prove successful, because they are not well known to begin with, will often fall under the radar of mainstream media and their positive effects never become known to the general public. I am continually baffled that some of the most effective methods to treat emotional and mental afflictions is virtually unknown to most people. I am a Clinical Hypnotherapist & Psychotherapist with a Postgraduate Diploma, and in seven years that I have practiced I have helped near a thousand people overcome problems with emotional distress and anxiety. The main method I use is a unique combination of cognitive suggestion, kinesthetic focus and mindfulness - all which have been proven clinically. The method I use is non-intrusive and uproots emotional stress on a subconscious level and works for 99% of everyone who tries it. With a little bit of work and proper guidance it offers lasting results and freedom from most emotional and mental afflictions. Is it possible to change? To get rid of unpleasant emotions, anxiety, depression and unwanted habits? In my experience change is much easier to achieve than most people think. One of my greatest joys is reading new comments of how people have been helped by one of my videos on Youtube. As I read these I am thinking, if I am able to help people in my sleep (through my video), doesn't that prove just how simple change can be if only the right methods are used? Pain. Most people want to avoid it. This only makes sense and is only natural. However, resistance and avoidance of emotional pain is paradoxically the leading cause of mental break downs, burn outs and anxiety disorders. The way most people try avoid pain is by trying to forget about it, distract themselves or numb themselves. On a conscious level pain might be forgotten, but it remains alive inside and on a subconscious level. What most people do not know is that there are very simple ways to get rid of emotional pain. There is one, non-intrusive method that I particularly like that I have used to help thousands of people. In the past few years I have helped near a thousand people overcome problems such as anxiety, depression, addictions, phobias and chronic pain. My Clients normally do not need more than five sessions before their life is completely turned around and they are free from their problems. I exclusively credit the methods I use for this success. The main methods I use to help people are a combination of EFT, NLP & Suggestions that are scientifically proven to create change. They are non-intrusive to such a degree I don't even have to know the specific problem for person to be relieved from it. I had made a lot of progress with other methods, but nothing worked as quickly and deeply as these particular methods when I finally decided to give them the chance. It's essential to feel like you can trust a person when you reach out for help. I know that feeling too.
