The Green Church, COI Dundalk
Description
Known locally as the 'green church', St. Nicholas's was built in the 13th century. It was extensively rebuilt and remodelled in the 17th and 18th centuries St. Nicholas' Church of Ireland, DUNDALK
The church, known locally as the Green Church, dates back to the early part of the 13th century when it was built at the time of the Norman conquests. In the late 1990s it was completely renovated and restored. Dundalk is close to the Northern Ireland border and the church is committed to peace and reconciliation.

Last Sunday evening was out Annual Carols by Candlelight is was a warm and magical night. Thank you all who came we hoped you all enjoyed it. But if anyone missed out or if you like to listen to it again we are pleased to announce it will be replayed again. A big Thank to Dundalk FM who will be replaying it on air Christmas Day from 5pm. A big well done to the choir and all the readers on the night. And not forgetting the warm & welcoming homemade mulled wine & mince pies afterwards.
