The CRAFTY KIDS art camp takes place on the top floor of Bridge Street Studios. Each crafty kid spends the day surrounded by the work of 7 professional artists absorbing that creative energy that gets soaked into the 250 year old walls.
NEW FOR 2014 - CRAFTY KIDS IN CARLINGFORD - The art camp take place in the brand new classroom space in Carlingford Design House, on Newry Street in Carlingford centre. Here we spend the day along side Garrett Mallon’s Jewellery Workshop and beside the beautiful handmade art and craft in the shop from over 40 Irish makers.
AND IT’S FUN hang out with your fellow crafty kids (and a few crafty adults) who get it and want to make all day too.

Enjoy a relaxing Sunday afternoon Bowl making Pottery Workshop You get to work with fresh clay, making your own pieces of glazed and fired functional art work. Have fun and learn a new skill, getting your hands dirty and let your creative juices flow! A fab way to spend a Sunday afternoon! Get into the zone and surprises yourself with a fab bowl for fruit, salad or punch or make a smaller set of bowls for dips, olives or nuts! With the help of Sarah McKenna a professional potter, you can transform that lump of muck into your very own piece of functional art! The finished pieces are let dry over the next week and then fired and finished professionally in the kiln and ready for collection. This workshop is suitable for beginners or improvers! Price is €45 per person, which includes all materials and the glazing and firing of your bowls.
