Article in March Close News, St. Patrick's Cathedral On Sunday 12 February Canon Horace McKinley was installed as Treasurer. Canon McKinley was appointed Prebendary of Dunlavin, the stall annexed to the Dioceses of Dublin and Glendalough, in 1991. He is rector of Whitechurch where he has served since 1976. A canon treasurer is responsible for a cathedral’s treasury: this consists of Communion silverware and other artefacts. We congratulate Canon McKinley on his appointment and we thank him for his long-standing contribution to the life of Saint Patrick’s Cathedral.
