Some Halloween fun at Irishtown Stageschool today 🎭🎃
Good morning all. After the huge success of Seussical we are delighted to announce that classes will resume next week 30th September in Irishtown Stadium. We will begin preparation for our Mini show which goes on at Christmas. Enjoy the rest the the weekend I know I will ;)
So it's Seussical Eve! Irishtown Stage School brings you the Broadway Smash Hit, Tony Award winning musical to Ringsend College Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th of September at 7:30pm. Doors open at 7pm. Starring the hilarious Amanda Blount McKinley with a cameo appearance from the All Ireland Champions; Collide Dance Academy and of course the wonderfully talented students of Irishtown Stage School. This two night only event is not to be missed. So whats Seussical about?.....Well, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, he must also guard an abandoned egg that's been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, community, and family are challenged and emerge triumphantly. Horton the elephant, the cat in the hat and all your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life on stage in Seussical Junior, a fantastic musical extravaganza from Tony award winners Lynn Ahrens & Stephen Flaherty. Hope to see you all there at this wonderful community evening.
With just under 4 weeks to go, Irishtown Stageschool is delighted to present Seussical The Musical.
