I'm on fire today!!! 👻🔥 One of my clients was in a huge rush today, so she probably started it 😂 . So I did a full acrylic refills with full mani and colour in 1 coat with no gaps at the cuticles in 60 mins. Then I broke my record (of 59 mins) by doing a gel polish manicure with colour and simple design in 55(!!!) minutes! 👻 And last client walked away after 65 minutes with a gorgeous gel polish mani with one nail fixed, and I wasn't even rushing 😏😏 . For some this might be normal timing, for others it may seem slow, but when the quality of your work is on a different level, you'll have to spend extra time. But it doesn't have to take hours either! Well I'm a walking proof of that quality work can be done quickly, if you focus and follow your steps precisely. 😉👍🏻 . At my courses I teach those tricks, and my goal is not only to teach you to do perfect nails, but also do them fast. If you're struggling with timing, my advice is: ❗️break your service down into steps and write down how many minutes/seconds it takes you to do each step, then analyse where you're slowing down. It helps 100%! . If you're my student, but still think you're taking too long, write these down and send it to me along with a picture of your work. But remember that you need to follow the steps precisely. . Speaking of steps, my techniques always change, because I'm always looking to improve the quality and speed of work. So if you've taken my courses more than a year ago, you should know that the new techniques I teach at the moment, are more advanced (but not more complex, in fact they're even easier), they're quicker and deliver much better results! The students that did my courses twice can prove it. 💪🏼😎 . In the picture is collaboration work from beauty show in Samara, Russia. I did the manicure, polygel refills and colour, and talented @mazalova_evgeniya painted these gorgeous flowers on them. Who knows, maybe Evgeniya will one day come to Ireland with courses 😉

Here's a post about one of my favourite colour charts - the one coaters. Some colours are applied in one thin coat, others will require a thicker coat, but all in all these guys are very easy to apply. If you're a @madam_glam fan or you're only thinking about trying it out, this post will be very helpful on what colours to expand or start your collection with. Swipe across the pics for swatches. They may not show the true colour, but they'll give you a rough idea. I'll post the names of each colour in captions to every photo in hashtags. I will also put a 🔥 icon in front of each of my favourite colours. I have to note that when working with highly pigmented colours and applying them in one coat you will need a good strong(48W+) LED or hybrid UV lamp to cure them properly. I use a 54W hybrid lamp and have no problems curing MG colours applied in thicker coats 😉

Yesterday 4 of my students competed in Irish national nail tournament and today I'm happy to share the results! All of the girls scored very high points and all were within top 6 out of 24 competitors! Swipe to see photos of their beautiful work! This is the first time I did competition prepping with them and I'm so proud of how well they've done! 😄👍🏻 So here we are: . 2nd place (only half a point away from the first) with 136.5 points - @ivitasfantasy! Well done and congratulations on placing in both photographic competitions! . 4th place @renataoleg with 131 points! . 5th place @julianad1 with 130 points! . 6th place @badeshka_nails with 125 points! . Girls participated in this category for the first time and did so well! The difference between 1st and 5th places was only 7 points, so the competition was really tough.
