*Top Tip* and something that I get ask all the time - What should I eat? You must fuel your body to achieve your goals but we all know that sometimes this is easier said than done. Between work, family and the busy lives we live we often skip meals all together or eat on the go. I have put together a handy list of foods that are easy to carry around, eat on the go and are full of natural sources of protein and vitamins. Nuts - almonds are my favourite. They are so easy to carry around in your hand bag or gym bag and great for fuelling up before a session or between meals. Apples - great for on the go snacks and natural sugars to curb sweet cravings. Cooked chicken/turkey - natural protein source and a filling snack to keep hunger at bay. Full fat yogurt - lidl do small pots that are great for single servings. A natural source of protein. (Make sure it is full fat to avoid nasty added sugars!) Smoothies - *warning* must be homemade and based on vegetables.
