Choosing our trees in September, Co Wicklow. I’m really lucky that Michael, our Christmas tree suppliers let’s me loose in his fields to choose our trees.

I think this event is a great idea. There is so much information and opinion around food and diet at the moment and some of it can be quite misleading. As a qualified nutritionist Lindsey really knows her stuff so this is a great opportunity to listen and discuss food and come away with a clearer idea of the benefits or otherwise of what you are eating. This weeks topic is Carbohydrates and I hope its a great success and will lead to more talks in the future. All the best!

One of my pallets this morning. All Irish produce thanks to our great supplier Ciaran Butler in the market. How John Clarke is still growing beautiful tasty raspberries in November I’ll never know. Every season treats us to cool new produce. In autumn, my favourite has to be the mix of pumpkins, squashes and gourds we get. They look amazing and the edible ones are delicious!
