facebook.comThe call for applications for the Universitas 21 Undergraduate Research Conference (URC) 2017 is now open. There are 4 full travel scholarships for the U21 Undergraduate Research Conference on “Future Societies, Global Citizens” at the University of Edinburgh on 26 – 30 June 2017. This is a multidisciplinary event which will be explored through the four themes of development, health, justice and the environment. To be eligible, candidates must be full-time UCD undergraduate students in year 2 or above. Resit Essay titles are now available for collection from the History School office (K107). Office opening hours this semester will be: Mon-Fri: 10am until 1pm and 2pm until 4pm. If you have any queries about the resit process, feel free to enquire in the office or drop us an email at history@ucd.ie.
A warm welcome to all our students from everyone in the School of History! We look forward to meeting our new first year undergraduate and postgraduate students and reacquainting ourselves with our second, third and fourth year undergraduate and postgraduates. This semester promises to be one for the history books with the introduction of various new modules and the return of some old favourites. If you are still undecided about what modules to register for, why not check out our online syllabus (via the school website https://www.ucd.ie/history/) or call in and have a chat with our School administrators in K107.

Don't forget our Class photo is being taken this morning at 11am on the steps of the Tierney Building. Our Graduate Studies Information Session will begin in K114 immediately afterwards. All are welcome!
UCD's School of History will host their Graduate Studies Information Session on Tuesday 19th April 2016 at 11.15am in K114. Staff members will be on hand to answer all questions relating to undertaking further study in History at Graduate level as well as any queries relating to their own fields of research. The session will be particularly useful to 3rd year students but all are welcome to attend.
The annual Third Year Class Photo will be taken tomorrow morning (Tuesday 19th April) at 11am on the steps of the Tierney Building. All third years who study History are welcome to attend. We look forward to seeing you there!
