Billy Anderson Comedian Billy Anderson is an American comedian who has resided in Ireland for over five years. He is the inaugural winner of the Charleston Comedy Festival and former a staple and stand-out in the talent-rich Atlanta comedy scene and after a brief hiatus from the Irish stand-up circuit, as of late Anderson has found his niche working in Irish clubs and rooms across the country. He has featured and performed in such renowned clubs as the International, the Roisin Dubh, and City Limits (Cork). Hey hey kids. Got a busy week of gigs coming up. Tonight, I'll be featuring for the fantastic Donal Vaughan in The Central Arts Theatre in Waterford--perhaps the best venue to experience a comedy show in the country. The layout is amazing and the people (Ciara and John O'Connell) who run it are two of the nicest folks you'll ever meet. Monday I'll be headlining Pop The Cherry in Whelans--fast becoming one of the best rooms in all of Ireland. Wednesday, I'll be doing a guest spot at Anseo alongside Grainne McKeever and Colum Tyrell and Neil Hickey. And finally, couldn't be more thrilled next Friday (the 15th) to be making my festival debut at The Comedy Caravan @ Longitude: Y'all come out and get you some!!
Awe yeah, people. Hitting up the comedy hubs of the country: Tonight in the famed International Comedy Club with Aidan Bishop, Eleanor Tiernan, and the brilliant Pat McDonnell...Next Saturday (the 28th), playing Con O'Sullivan's prized Co Co Club down in Cork.
