Duke Street Gallery
Description
A bohemian Georgian house in the heart of Dublin - 17 Duke Street holds an eclectic collection of paintings from contemporary to established artists alike. We're housed in one of Dublin city's oldest buildings, originally constructed in the 1730's, where we showcase the work of contemporary Irish artists, alongside historically significant Irish painters.
The building was the original location for the Red Bank Oyster, which was mentioned in James Joyce's 'Ulysses'. We feature artists such as Louis LeBrocquy, Markey Robinson, Marie Carroll, Graham Knuttel, Harry Kernoff and Patrick Collins to name but a few.
Oh, and we ship worldwide too!

He had spent a considerable amount of time researching the techniques, mediums and pigments of the old masters. We can see from is portraits the subtle and gradual blending of one tone into another through the use of thin glazes to give the figure depth.
