Description
NECRET is a charity set up to raise funds for equipment, research and clinical trials at the North East oncology centre in Drogheda. NECRET” The Northeast Cancer Research and Education Trust, was established in 2005 and was set up to help improve facilities for all Cancer Patients using the northeast oncology unit in Drogheda. NECRET also engages and contributes too much needed clinical research so as to be in a position to offer bespoke treatments for Cancer Patients which improves the prospects of cancer elimination along with saving much needed lives. With every new treatment discovery comes the need to allocate essential education grants which are greatly needed for the oncology team.
This year the North East Oncology and Haematology Unit in Drogheda has set a goal to raise €160,000 to buy a vital
“Gene Sequencing Machine"
This ground breaking machine is the next generation in Cancer treatment, it will enable us to individualise and speed up our patient’s treatment plan. One in three will get Cancer, it could be you. The earlier Cancer can be detected and treated the better chance of patient survival. Help us eliminate Cancer, your support is needed!
