FAR FETCHED; Yesterday evening we headed west to a dinner hosted in Loam (restaurant) in aid of refugee chefs. Damian Grey (Heron & Grey - Dublin) Jess Murphy (Kai - Galway) Takashi Miyazaki (Miyazaki -cork) & Louise Bannon (former pastry sous at Noma) cooked #withrefugees Syrian chefs to produce a memorable supper. Background music for the night was a ukulele concert - bizarre but brilliant! 🙌🏻 Bravo! Scholarships in place for these chefs and stages planned - brilliant work by all involved.
I cannot help but love this time of year; I refuse the prospect of impending gloom when there is comfort food to be wolfed, there are hearty red wines to be quaffed. Leaves to be kicked. Books to be read. Dogs to be walked in the woods. Pull on your boots & another sweater, it's beautiful at sunrise. Have a delicious bank holiday weekend & happy mid term too. From us all at #ESBG
