Sharing this great visual from ‘Evolve Therapy’ - it is so important to spend time working on the foundation skills of language development: attention and listening skills, engagement, interaction and play. Once these skills are developing we move to build on receptive language and then expressive language. Don’t underestimate the power of sitting down face to face and playing with your child or reading books together this Christmas!!
