Contact 269 28 38 / 0868245238 e:info@donnybrookltc.ie  www.donnybrookltc.ie Donnybrook Lawn Tennis Club was established in 1893 and is one of Ireland's oldest tennis clubs. Its playing facilities include 8 floodlit artificial grass courts situated in the heart of Donnybrook, Dublin 4.

The Club has a proud tradition of league success at the junior, senior and veteran levels. Its junior development programme is renowned for producing players of national and international standard. Every year the Club plays host to some of Ireland's premier tennis events. Foremost among these is the Irish Close Tennis Championships.

While the Club continues to excel in competition, its primary focus is, and has always been, social tennis. From club nights to morning clinics, a busy and varied schedule of social tennis events is maintained throughout the year for adult and junior members of all standards.

Results for 2018 Junior National Indoor Championships- CONGRATULATIONS TO THE FOLLOWING DONNYBROOK PLAYERS who had super results in 2017: GS 16 Winner Juliana Carton and R/Up Kate Gardiner. Q/Finalist Breda Brennan and well done to Sarah O’Rourke who reached the top 32. GS 12 Kate Brennan who reached the Q/Finals and Caroline Danaher who was beaten in 3 sets in the Q/F by the eventual winner, so great results. GS 14 congrats to Grace Sargent who ended up in the last 32. BS 16 well done James Brophy who was just beaten in the Q/Finals by the eventual winner. GS 18 Congrats Maria Blake top 16. And to Emma Brennan who reached top 8, beaten by the winner.

Congratulations to all juniors who competed in the Winter National Matchplays. Caroline finished 4th and Kate 7th in the U12 event. In the U16s Kate Gardiner ended up 4th and Breda achieved the best score against the winner Olwyn. In the U18s Emma and Maria competed and finally Juliana Carton won the U18 Girls Singles. Brilliant results girls.

And today continued with further successes as the Donnybrook U14 Boys 1st team beat Laytown/ Bettystown and then the U14 Girls 1st team beat Templeogue putting both teams through to their Semifinals. Well done all.
