"Promoting Health and Safety in Agriculture" MPM Sfety Equip Ltd. was founded by Marie Martin when she invented the product Safe Scrub Sprayer as a transition year project. Her father had become ill from spraying pesticides and she knew there must be a better alternative and the Safe Scrub Sprayer was born.
Marie won the Young Entrepreneur Programme and received national attention as well as mentorship from the likes of Denis O'Brien and Jerry Kennelly. The Safe Scrub Sprayer was launched the following year to commercial success.
In 2013, Marie developed the sprayer with a hydraulic extender and this became the first new addition to the Safe Scrub Sprayer product line.
Now studying in UCC as a Quercus Innovation & Entrepreneurship Scholar, Marie is committed to her mission of promoting health and safety in the agricultural sector and providing farmers with innovative new products to protect their health.
Our flagship product the Safe Scrub Sprayer is a front-loader sprayer which allows the user to spray pesticides from the safety of the cab. Allowing the user to adjust height and angle, resulting in up to 50% less pesticide needed, saving the user time and money.
The addition of the hydraulic ram allows the user to control the direction of the sprayer from inside the cab to achieve he most efficient and accurate spray possible.
Demonstrations of the Safe Scrub Sprayer are held throughout Ireland at various trade shows and is also available on DoneDeal.ie and various different agricultural garages.

Irish Student Entrepreneurship Forum
**ATTENTION CURRENT STUDENT ENTREPRENEURS** To all those young entrepreneurs out there, the application process for the ISEF is now open. Martin's Safety Equipment was delighted to become the previous winner of the Irish Student Entrepreneurial Forum. In our opinion, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
