So, Friday #evening I took a #stroll down #Ballyannan #Woods with the hound. I was very aware that the hot humid weather has brought the #wasps out and twice already Rogue (the hound) had been stung. He didn't like it and got quite upset so this evening I was keeping a close eye on him making sure he didn't get in trouble again. He didn't, I did. Those pesky flying insects saw an easy target. I was like a mad woman in the middle of the woods trying to get the thing out of my hair. Half a dozen stings to the back of my head later I finally calmed down. That hasn't happened to me since I was a teenager. As I walked briskly for the exit, all I could think of was getting home so I could put some #AloeVeraGelly on it to stop the stinging.
