ICON began in Douglas Court , back in 1990 when the Centre first opened. The ICON name is now firmly established as a popular source for affordable inspiring fashion.
ICON has successfully kept pace with the changing fashion over the last twenty years , and as a result has built a very loyal fan base in Cork suburbia, chiefly Douglas, Wilton and surrounding areas
In recent years the keen fashion sense of our buyers has come to the attention of many a Cork visitor and we now have regular customers from all parts of the country .
The ICON ethos is to find a strong balance between boring basics and outlandish extravagant fashion.
Affordability plays a key role and also the necessity to create a style that embraces ladies of a variety of shapes and sizes.
Our stock is refreshed by monthly buying trips, mainly to Paris but also occasionally to London and Italy.
Accessories are essential to the finished ICON outfit so shoes, bags, scarves and jewellery are also available in ICON
Sizes generally range from 8 to 18.
We take deposits and Gift Vouchers are also available .
