So, yesterday a gift was left for me with our driver George, on the Black Ash Park & Ride by a little girl named Clodagh(8). She and her Mom travelled in my bus on Friday from town to Black Ash. On Friday Clodagh sat at the front of the bus and told me everything!! She's going to be a vet, she was on a half day for Easter, and in town celebrating with mom, she has 3 ponies at home aswell as 3 cats and 2 dogs, and how "mom already has her own dress and loads of shoes for my communion" When Clodagh told me her favourite artist was Ed Sheeran, I told her "Ed is my favourite too. So before I set off from Cork City Hall I text Corks RedFM, asking Dave Mac to Play Ed Sheeran, for Clodagh on the Park & Ride. He kindly did, while we were still on the bus and read the whole text on Air before Clodagh pressed the "Big red door button" herself to let everyone out at the end of the journey. Judging by the smile, it made her day!! I wanted to publicly thank Clodagh and her Mom for the beautiful hand made card, my favourite Easter egg, and for putting a smile on my face that resembled Clodagh's last Friday #mademyday. Im hoping if this is shared enough maybe Clodagh and her mom might see it themselves. Thanks to Dave Mac and all at Red FM for playing Ed for Clodagh and I, as well as reading the text on air. DT
