Photos from Yoga with Marjorie's post
Back to the beginning! Great release for the lower back and hips providing a nice stretch for the hamstrings and groin.
With 15 years of committed yoga practice, it was inevitable that Marjorie would eventually turn to teaching, in order to pass on her love of yoga to others. Marjorie's classes are accessible to all levels of experience, from complete beginners to seasoned yogis. With a passion for athletics and sports in general, Marjorie undertook further training in yoga for athletes and has taught runners, triathletes and lovers of martial arts. Marjorie believes yoga is for all, and if practiced safely, is a win win. It can be adapted for every 'body', regardless of fitness, age or perceived limitation. With emphasis on correct alignment and attention to form, she will always bring students back to the one central omni-present thread of the breath. Her early practice was predominantly astanga, but in recent years, she has practiced vinyasa, anusara, iyengar and hatha yoga. Marjorie has been influenced by and studied with many inspiring teachers along the way, but in particular yogis such as Paul Dallaghan (Yoga Thailand), James Higgins (USA) and Jason Crandell (San Francisco). She teaches currently in Flow Yoga Studio, Clonakilty and in Dervish, Cornmarket St, Cork.
