Founded in 2008, UCC Economics Society has organised various events for the student population of University College Cork with an interest in all thing economics and financial including the very successful UCC EconoCon which is an annual highlight of Economics Week on campus.
As well as inviting guest speakers from Ireland and abroad to speak on campus, we also organise everything form film screenings to dodgeball tournaments and economics themed socials.

Thanks to everyone who participated and organised our table quiz with the Hispanic and International Relations Societies, Monday evening in the Old Bar. A great evening was had and more importantly, money was raised for the victims of the recent earthquake in Mexico. A special mention goes to the sponsors of the event who donated plenty of prizes for the raffle.
