Can't really believe it's the 2017 tri season already but no bad way to kick it of Tri Monkstown on a gloriously sunny day yesterday! Congrats to all competitors and thanks to all organisers and stewards.
Cobh Jailbreak Triathlon
Much fun had last night at the practice swim from Spike island to Cobh. First open water swim of 2017 and pleasantly surprised by the water temperature. Thanks to Cobh Triathlon Club for the invite, really looking forward to Cobh Jailbreak Triathlon on the 1st July.
American Chris Mocko wins the Cork City marathon
Well done everyone who took part in the marathon on Sunday. Read through the article below and you will see what a fantastic achievement it was by Jill Hodgkins who was the 1st female across the line. We have our Sports Massage Therapist available in the clinic this week too, if anyone is looking for a well deserved Deep Tissue Sports Massage.

The popular John Buckley 5 Km road race took place on Tuesday and unlike today it was a lovely balmy summers evening. There were over 900 runners including many of the Joyce Wolfe Physio Team and although no individual winners the Men's Team came third. Well done to all.

***SUMMER PILATES *** Our Pilates classes are running through the Summer with the next block starting week commencing 12th June. We will be running classes on a Monday and Tuesday evening in Douglas and Wednesday evening and Friday morning in Cobh. Bookings essential, so please call the clinic if you are interested to hold your place.

The Cork City marathon is on the bank holiday Sunday. Competitors looking for a deep tissue massage either pre race or post race recovery, we are taking bookings for Monday evening in Douglas or Wednesday evening in Cobh. Call the clinic to book either a 60 minute or a 30 minute session.

Few weekends back Joyce travelled to the UK to partake in the APPI Pilates foundation course in Bristol. Joyce will now be joining Helen and Ian in doing one to one Pilates sessions with clients.

Last night was the Pfizers 6 mile race in Ringaskiddy. Congratulations to all members of the Joyce Wolfe Physio team who did extremely well. Jill Hodgkins was 1st in the women, John Meade overall 2nd and Amy Wolfe and Anne Wolfe were both 1st in their category. Well done to all.
