Could sitting be causing your back pain ? As we become a more sedentary society and jobs revolve around sitting more and more we need to be aware of the affects this has on our bodies. During my weeks in the clinic I see so many people presenting with low back pain caused by excessive sitting. The guidelines are for every two hours spent sitting we should spend 15 minutes moving around ... minimum ! My aim is to help restore your flexibility and increase range of motion to help cure your back pain caused by sitting and to give you the tools to help maintain a healthy back. As were all busy trying to get fit this new year aches, pains and muscle soreness starts to creep in. I had a message from a client this week who trains and works out quite a bit saying she coundn't move her neck and her back and shoulders were after getting really sore! Training is meant to push us and make us stronger but for even an experienced person this can result in a muscle pull or strain causing pain.Treatment was some deep tissue massage, cupping, dry needling and a few manipulations. the client walked out happy with reduced pain and increased mobility !
