We seriously hope Cork City Council are working hard behind the scenes with a plan B to secure an alternative site for Aiken Promotions in Cork City. Live at the Marquee has been a major success over the years attracting major artists from all over the world to come and play in Cork City. Losing it would be a major blow to our ticket business and countless other businesses and spell disastrous consequences for our local economy. The extended funding for the convention centre in the brewery quarter is very welcome but with still no starting or completion dates announced it is imperative we safeguard and protect the event industry we all ready have in place. We have some great promoters of events in operation in our city that take huge personal risks putting on various events to entertain the public.
