PPL Biomechanics is Ireland’s leading manufacturer of custom orthoses, supplier of podiatry products and provider of post-graduate training in lower limb biomechanics.  Founded by podiatrists Joanne and James McKenna in 1993, PPL now employs more than twenty local staff across all of its departments. Our factory, offices and warehouse are all located in Tramore Commercial Park on Tramore Road in Cork City. We pride ourselves on diligently attending to all our customer’s needs.

Orliman Boxia Drop Foot AFO is now available at PPL. This product is designed to assist the lower limb in achieving adequate ankle dorsiflexion for normal heel-to-toe gait. Adjustable levels of ankle dorsiflexion, eversion or inversion can be easily achieved through adjustment of the tension strap. An excellent aid for lower limb paralysis. Read our latest #PPLNews article about a recent research paper from Staffordshire University in the UK which investigated the comfort and pressure relieving properties of Dr. Comfort vs regular footwear.
