We received this email off a student earlier: "Dear students union, My name is Linda o brien I am a 3rd year bsoc social science mature student in ucc. Last friday 1st December after leaving class at 1pm I had a nasty fall at the top of donovan road going across to the car park. This resulted in me banging my face off the kerb and breaking my glasses, also damaging both knees and upper body. I am ok now that I am over the shock. 3 students from ucc came to my assistance and they were so good that they reassured me and were very kind. I have been speaking to my lecturers as I would like to thank these students but did not get names, my lecturers told me to contact ye as ye might be able to send out a broadcast. Is this possible ? " We would first like to thank the students who helped this lady. It is often the case people don't see the kind gestures and good work students do.
