Castlewhite Apartments are UCC's only On-Campus Complex - that means we are just three minutes to the main campus! UCC Castlewhite Apartments were built in 1991; the kitchen, living room and shower room were upgraded in 2007 and 2009 respectively. They are the only on-campus accommodation located in the grounds of University College Cork. The complex is a mere three minute walk to the library, student centre and main lecture buildings. We are also conveniently located opposite the Mardyke Sports Arena. The complex provides student residential accommodation from September to June. The accommodation consists of 63 apartments, ranging from 3 bedroom apartments to 6 bedroom apartments. In total the complex accommodates 278 students. Please note that although there are no en-suite facilities, each bedroom is equipped with a wash-hand basin, mirror and under sink storage.
Reception is open Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, with staff available to deal with any inquires from residents. In addition to the great service at reception and location, the complex also offers a residential student warden for all out of hours queries, social events, on-site laundry and high speed wireless broadband access provided by UCC.

Academic Year 2017-18 opening of applications We are pleased to announce that applications for next year open on February 7th and can be completed online through the Campus Accommodation section of the UCC website. Applications will remain open for a month. Places will then be offered on a lottery basis. The successful applicants will then be contacted for the payment of the booking deposit. Happy applying!

Please note that all student rubbish and recycling is to be dumped in Castlewhite's bin area and not in the UCC staff bins.
We are aware that many students are experiencing trouble with the WiFi at the moment. We have asked for an IT officer to inspect the issue and we hope to have it back working as soon as possible.
