Hi everyone at cspca I just want to thank you for the great work you do, and for Duchess and Muffin our two cats who we adopted from you about 18 months ago. It took them a while to get used to people, especially Muffin the scaredy little sister, but you would never know it now they are so happy and playful. Cant imagine life without them. Thanks again from us all :) Keep up the good work Jenti

Building update Two of our recent building projects have now been completed which will greatly improve our capacity when new kennels are constructed in the not to distant future and the first of our new exercise pens. We will be building a much larger one over the summer which will give us almost an acre of extra space which will also be used as a paddock for any horses or ponies which come into our care over the year.

"She's ruling the roost already 🙂. The older bichon, Leo has been cleaning her ears & checking if she's ok. The other bichon Toby just sits next to her like a big brother. She's eating well & loves her roast chicken breast. She loves looking at her reflection in the glass oven door & can't pass it without stopping for a look. I'll send another few photos for you to choose from, Linda"

We must say a belated huge thank you Grainne, Laura and bob from Fermoy, who called into the centre recently and who very kindly donated not only bags of food and treats for the dogs and cats but also €76.70 which they raised from the sale of cards that they made themselves. They took photos of their dogs in the snow, bought all the materials and made some very good quality cards and then sold them to help raise funds for the animals in the CSPCA. Only behalf of all the animals we would like to express our sincere thanks for this very thoughtful act, who put the welfare of others and in particular the animals above themselves, well done guys!

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE We have been quite busy here at the centre over the past few weeks and will continue to be so right up to the end of March. As you can see our new whelping kennels are now finished and our serious contagion kennel is well under way. Two further projects which we were going to do as part of our 2018 plan have been brought forward, one of these involves the laying of a new yard and drainage system to the rear of our kennels which will include a new 8 foot concrete wall and the other is going to a new agility yard for dogs which will also double as a paddock for any horses or ponies that may need our help, as always we will keep you updated on all progress and it is equally as important to show where your hard earned donations which you have very kindly given us are being spent.
