Presentation of trophies from our annual club clayshoot that took place last weekend. Well done to Barry McGorry on winning the overall shoot on the day. Also well done to Declan, Harry, Sarah, Patrick and Adrian Morris on winning trophies on the individual traps on the day. A great days crack was had and the dust webs were blown off the guns for the shooting season ahead.

Great evenings crack at our annual club clay shoot 2day at Mourne Shooting Grounds Must of been plenty of practice done over the summer!!!

RGC Members following the recent Cavan RGC AGM please note the following; 1. We have been requested by the Gardaí(Noreen Finnerty) to give them a list (names and addresses) of people who do not rejoin the Club each year after 31st July, so they can speak withe them in relation to the purpose of having a firearm. 2. Any person who has an out of date firearm licence must renew this by December 31st 2016 or else the firearm will be ceased, no questions asked.

Would like to wish best of luck to our club members partaking in the final of the Cavan RGC spring league final 2016. It promises to be a good day hosted by North Cavan South Monaghan shooting grounds just outside Drung. Anyone from the club who just wants to have a shot or missed out on the classification can also shoot but their scores won’t count in the final.

A few more pictures from the presentation of the cups won throughout the year at the game evening last weekend and the antics that followed afterwards 🍹🏆😄. A great evenings crack was had. Also a thank you to Maudabawn Co Op, Mc Mullen Oils, Rice Agricultural, Charlie Mc Cann Contracting, Mervin Wedlock Plant and everyone else for the sponsored prizes for the farmers draw.
