Fáilte to the page of "An Teach Beag", Clonakilty. A traditional Irish pub with regular trad sessions and storytelling, right in the centre of Clonakilty town in West Cork. If you're a local fan of trad music, or a visitor to Clonakilty, keep an eye on this page for updates of upcoming sessions. During July and August, we are open 7 nights a week, from around 8.30pm to midnight. Music each night from 9.30pm onwards - no cover charge. Bain taithneamh as, tar isteach agus abair amhrán linn!
(We also have souvenir T-Shirts, and a CD "Sessions from An Teach Beag" for sale).
"An Teach Beag" had the honour of being named Traditional Irish Music Pub of the Year in 2003, 2004 and 2006 presented by Irish Pub Guide.
Beagán Stair
The building was originally a storehouse for the nearby O' Donovan's Hotel (who still own and run it), and was surrounded by stables. It was converted to a pub in 1994.
It is now one of the most popular pubs with locals and visitors alike in Clonakilty town.
