Connemara Life
Description
Connemara Life showcases the land, the people, and the stories of Ireland's rugged and beautiful west coast. Connemara Life is a new magazine promoting travel and tourism to Ireland’s west coast. Unlike travel guides, Connemara Life will showcase the region through storytelling, captivating photography, and a strong online presence that mirrors and enhances the printed edition.
Connemara Life is the brainchild of Lisa Burwell, founder and publisher of VIE magazine, a Florida-based lifestyle magazine distributed throughout the United States. Lisa’s mother was reared near Tullycross, Renvyle in County Galway and had a small cottage there before her death. As a child, Lisa visited Ireland often. Her memories of summers in Connemara prompted her to return to the country where they were forged. Lisa now owns the same modest cottage that her mother loved so dearly. Connemara Life is the result of Lisa’s desire to share her love of Ireland’s west coast and repay her ancestral debt to the people of Connemara by providing the region with the exposure it so deserves.
