OK y'all, announcing more details on the upcoming 2017 Annual Longboard Competition and Surf Festival taking place here in Surf City Lahinch 8th, 9th and 10th September. This year we’ll be including additional categories including for example Best Novice, Best Senior/Master and Annual Legend so watch this space for more details: plus we’ll also be running off a Retro Expression Session so if you surf a glassed on single fin or go Commando with a leash-less log or hell, if your go to board is a mini-Simmons, as long as it’s retro, you’re in! Roughly the weekend will comprise in addition to the competition, movies n' beers Friday night, BBQ and DJ on Saturday followed by prize-giving and some good ol’ kick-ass rock n’ roll ‘til late. Stick around on Sunday for fun stuff and to catch up with your traveling buddies. We’ll also be filming the event throughout the weekend including a portrait of each entrant for personal fame and posterity. All included in your entrance fee (€15 per person).
