We are so lucky that she has agreed to come all the way from Edingburgh to do the course with us. If you want to learn about colour and know how to use it better this is the course for you. Next Progress Art Workshop will be with Scottish Artist Olivia Irvine on 1st and 2nd of October in Quay Community Centre Westport. Olivia has taught at the Edinburgh College of Art and Edinburgh University. She has exhibited internationally and received numerous awards for her work. The workshop will focus on colour using colour compliments,harmony and neutrals and colour mixes. It will also focus on devising new work using colour. Progress Art Network will host a 2 day life drawing workshop with Japanese Artist Sahoko Blake in the Quay Community Centre Westport on Saturday and Sunday July 2nd and 3rd from 11am to 4 pm each day. The bones and muscles of the body compose a very complex 3D system. We will work through all these systems during the class. Sahoko will be drawing alongside participants using experienced life models, in a step by step approach to give you a full visual rather than conceptual understanding of the life drawing process.
