Description
Kinesiology is a holistic therapy treating the whole body, mentally, physically, chemically and energetically. Kinesiology works by using muscle testing ( with gentle pressure) to gain information about the body. The person remains fully clothed lying on a couch. It is a test where the persons own body tells what suits it or how to heal it, making the treatment unique to each individual. The body can be re-balanced in a number of ways, by nutritional testing, food sensitivity testing, emotional stress release, acupressure, to name but a few.

Tips on how to make your New Year’s resolutions work for you January – new Year resolution time, many people make plans to get healthy — to start working out and eating right. Whatever your ambitions are for the New Year, making sure you set realistic, achievable goals. Here are my 3 tips on how to make your resolution work for you. SET ACHIEVABLE GOALS Set goals that are realistic and achievable. Statistics show that only 8% keep to their new Year resolutions, so put together a plan, identify what you need, for example if your resolution to get fit, then define what getting fit actually means to you, and then write down and commit to what needs to change on a daily basis to make this happen. HAVE A GOAL BUDDY Working towards a common goal with a friend or partner increases your motivation to work harder. WRITE IT DOWN Just talking about your goals wont work, make sure you write them down and put them somewhere you can see them, stick them on the fridge, put them beside your bed, but I really believe that writing them down, makes them real and achievable. An article on managing your goals from Forbes.com suggests, “Break your goals into small actionable steps and assign realistic time frames to each.” You can realistically apply this theory to any plan. Your goals can be accomplished — do not intimidate yourself with hard-to-reach expectations. Start off slow, and you will see progress. You see nothing changes until something changes, otherwise it stays the same! Without a plan and some simple daily actions this year could end up pretty much the same as 2015. Go out there and do something! Looking forward to helping you in 2016. Book your appointment to day and see how kinesiology can help play a role in getting you fit in 2016. Thank you for all your ongoing support. Kind regards Dympna Corrigan Kinesiologist 24 O'Neill Street Carrickmacross Co. Monaghan Mob: 087-9683-833 email: dympna.corrigan@kinesiology.ie
