Last Saturday 13th January we held an open Day at Xtreme CSC Cahir in conjunction with their1 year Anniversary. All donations on the day went to a very worthy Charity that is extremely close to the hearts of the people of Cahir town. The Charity is Act For Meningitis. Cahir town lost one of their own last February to Meningitis, Grainne O Donnell, a young girl of 20 who is sadly missed. We here at Xtreme CSC Cahir were very proud to be able to help out by donating to this charity. Our Open Day kicked off with a Spinathon in our reception area. All staff members and gym members alike had great fun taking turns to keep the wheels on the spin bikes turning! We were delighted on the day that a local butcher, Diarmuid Healy of Brendan Healy Butchers set up a stand and cooked up some tasty treats for the public to sample. This included his very popular turkey burgers and turkey bacon! Kieran Sadik and Jessica Nolan from Optimum Nutrition had a wonderful supplements stand set up with samples of their product range and they also cooked up some protein pancakes to taste. Evan Lynch gave a very informative Nutrition Talk in our Studio which was attended by a captivated crowd. He also had a very interesting question and answer section to finish things up. The day was a great success and it was fantastic to see our members bring in their families also to look around the gym. Our raffle took place just before 3pm. The winners were: Casey Allen – 3 month membership Ivo Caics – Bag of Protein Brian O Gorman – Tub of Pre workout Eoin O Donnell – Tub of BCAAs We were pleased with the large attendance on the day and delighted with the generosity from all our wonderful members and their families. All in all a great success for our Open Day. Proceeds to Act For Meningitis…..over €400 raised in our 3 hours!!

A successful day was had here at XtremeCSC Cahir for our Open Day !!🎉🎉 In 3 hours we have raised over €400 for Act For Meningitis!!! Thank you to everyone who supported us ,it was great to see families coming in to look around the gym ! A massive thank you to Diarmuid Healey from Healy’s Butchers here in CAHIR for cooking up some tasty treats!!, Kieran and Jessica from Optimum Nutrition for all of their lovely protein pancakes and products.
