Costal: Located in Ballinskelligs, an area renowned for it sandy beaches and breath taking scenery, this property offers you the gateway to it all. A peaceful and tranquil setting is high on the list for most visitors to this area. The nearby sandy beach at Reenroe, which is over a mile long offers amenities for all, be it walking, running, surfing, swimming, horse riding or just relaxing.

Surfing classes are available here during the summer months. Ballinskelligs beach also offers canoe hire for the more adventurous. Daytrips to the Skelligs or indeed deep sea diving can be taken from Ballinskelligs pier.

Meet the locals at one of the two bars that are located within three miles of the house where musical entertainment, traditional and current, is often on offer. An ideal location to relax, enjoy and get away from that hectic schedule.


Treks: One thing this area has in abundance of local walks and scenic drives. The most popular drive/cycle being the Skellig Ring route. Here you take in all the beautiful coastline this area has to offer, views of the Skelligs, Cill Rialaig Famine Village and Artist's Retreat, the Cill Rialiag art Gallery, Ballinskelligs monastic settlement. On to the Glen to try some of the award winning chocolates from the local factory. Then on to Portmagee, a quant village, over the bridge to Valentia where the Skellig centre is located. Check out Bray Tower, Geokaun Mountain and the slate quarry amongst other excursions.
