ASD/Aspergers Support - ANXIETY: When I'm counselling I regularly work with people for whom anxiety is a big concern. For people on the autistic spectrum it is such a critical issue that it often becomes the main cause of disruption to life. Here's a really helpful short interview with Prof. Tony Atwood, who is a Clinical Psychologist specialising in Autism, who gives excellent and very grounded advice. He goes through both the destructive and constructive ways to manage anxiety for people on the autistic spectrum. This is very useful particularly for parents of teens on the autistic spectrum, in setting up good anxiety management practices for life. http://innerspace.ie/blog/
