Please be advised, StrongLife Gym will be closed at 8pm on Friday the 15th and Saturday the 16th. This is to facilitate members going for Xmas pints together. On Sunday, I'll determine the levels of shame/fear and embarrassment from Friday nights antics as to whether the gym will open next week. For anyone going out Friday, you will be required to sign a waiver stating you will never talk about the night out again. Thanks Colm
Were you ever feeling great about yourself and feeling like you were eating well. Then you go to have a salad for lunch and on the first 2 bites you take half the inside of your mouth with you? I'm taking it as a sign. Salads aren't good for you. Never bit my mouth eating cake!

I've had the chance to create a few programs for clients that train in commercial gyms recently. And it's actually fun to play around with programming for different equipment and machines. But regardless of how new or fun the machine will be, I know I can give as good as results by always working the basics here: Squat Hip-hinge (think deadlifts etc.) Press (Vertical&Horizontal) Pull (Vertical&Horizontal) Loaded Carries/Sled Work And that's why we still deliver results without the need for fancy looking stuff.

One of the best complaints I keep getting is all the people giving out about having to get new clothes. We've lads needing new uniforms for work and girls getting into dresses they hadn't worn in a year. No matter how much progress you see on the scales or tape, it'll never make you feel as good as putting on clothes that make you feel and look great. All in perfect time too with Christmas coming up!
