The hellebores, what a terrific family of plants. Flowering in the depths of winter all the way through til late spring. These exceptionally hardy perennials do well in a shady spot, under a tree for example or a north facing wall, where many other plants would fail. Even during our recent snowy spell these plants never missed a beat. When they have finished flowering in a few months time, top dress the plant with some leaf mould prune off any dead flowers and leave alone for the summer, easy 😁.
